Mild concerns about the Fae

I don’t know what combination of weather has produced the perfect conditions for fungi this year but I have seen so many different kinds of mushrooms this summer.

This is one of my favourites.

But the abundance of fungi has made me wonder if I should be on the lookout for the Fae.

I guess we should all just be careful not to give beautiful strangers our true names until we figure it out.

Seen on Today’s Walk

We’ve had a dusting of snow a few times this past week (including Xmas day- yay!) and I was delighted to see the trees lightly frosted today.

It’s like icing sugar on a treat.

Again with the dogberries

I know I’ve mentioned how much I like dogberries.

My camera has all kinds of photos like these:

Creatures of the Night

We had to take our walk at night so I had a little fun with it.

Me and Khalee are creatures of the night.

We may need fancy capes for this.

Shadow Creatures

1) I wish I had the photography skills to have made a really artsy shot here.

2) I didn’t notice at the time that the gaps in the trees looked like short invisible creatures were standing behind Khalee and casting a shadow but I like the effect.
