- I'm Chris and I'm a freelance mombie and stay-at-home writer living in Newfoundland.
  
  This blog is about things I've got running around in my head so sometimes it's about mothering, sometimes it's about what I'm reading/working on at the moment and sometimes it's about whatever's bugging me at the moment.
  
  I'm a stickler for effective communication so I'm keen on people choosing their words carefully, and thinking before they speak. Yes, every word in this section was chosen carefully.
  
  I love personal development books and blogs, but self-help programs creep me out. There's a difference.
  
  I'm trying to learn to see the trees for the forest (I focus too much on the whole instead of the pieces), and to remember that practice makes permanent.
