I have decided going to be slow September.
Every year, even though my kids are no longer in school, I find the hustle and bustle of September carries me along with it. I get dragged into the hectic.
This year, I’m refusing to let that happen.
I’m going to work on it in two ways.
I’m going to deliberately incorporate some restful practises into each day, and, I’m going to do more mindful planning so I have a better idea of what I want to do so I can say no to things I don’t want to do.
In fact, I’m starting this practice now by not worrying about the fact that it is September 1 and I don’t have my plan in place yet. I’m going to ease into the plan like I will ease into everything else about this month.
Let’s see how it goes.
