Prioritizing is a thing, right?

I have a lot of complicated tasks to do this week.

Well, I don’t actually have time to do them all.

I’m going to have to prioritize.

Prioritizing is my least available skill at the moment.

If you don’t struggle with prioritizing, you have no idea how many decisions are involved in the process.

And when I am tired or when I have a lot of task switching to do it is nearly impossible for me to make all those decisions.

I guess my best approach is to get as much sleep as I can and to do whatever possible to minimize task switching.

Cross your fingers for me.

Personal Magic

Here are my earrings and necklace on the corner of the kitchen table after I took them off a minute ago.

My earrings are gold hoops with a gold star pendant on each one.

My necklace is a piece of black leather cord with a light blue pendant, a small key, a rose gold ring, and a teeny sundial pendant on it.

Each of these items reminds me of something important, elements and ideas that I want to carry through my days.

A kind of personal magic.

Fence flowers!

Pink tulips behind someone’s fence.
A group of pink tulips growing amidst grass and trees behind someone’s fence.

I first noticed these tulips growing behind this fence last year and I was looking forward to seeing them this year.

I actually cheered when I saw it the other day.

I was a Bridesmaid

Bridesmatron? Best Woman?

Either way, I had the honour of standing at a lovely, informal wedding today on a foggy cliff.

The vows were beautiful.

The day was marvellous.

I couldn’t be happier for them both.

Gold Star

One of my latest gold star drawings:

A drawing of a gold star that has rounded edges. Inside the star is made of all kinds of triangles in different shades of yellow and gold. ?
