I bought a new mug because it cracked me up.

1) making more room for myself in the weekend ahead
2) having chocolatey chai to drink
3) brainstorming cool ideas with fun people
I know I’ve mentioned how much I like dogberries.
My camera has all kinds of photos like these:

I enjoyed my evening of writing so much that I decided to start the day with some more writing.
My day felt really grounded today and I wonder if starting my work day with writing contributed to that.
I’m going to experiment with it a bit more and see. 🙂
I always forget how long it takes me to really dive into my writing.
Sure, I can knock off something light or something with a narrow scope pretty quickly but if it is important, complex, or if the details need to be worked out through the writing process, I need to give it more time.
But I think the thought that it will require more time or more concentration is one of the things that keeps me from diving in.
I know my brain considers ‘needs concentration’ as an obstacle.
So, how can I remove that obstacle and spend more enjoyable time writing?
