Daisies make me happy every time I see them.

Daisies make me happy every time I see them.

I am spending entirely too much time checking things off my to do list and not nearly enough time doing the fun things I want to be doing.
This is partially an issue of being in an especially busy time for my various volunteer commitments but it is also a problem of tasks creeping out from the mental containers I have put them in.
I am going to have to experiment with how to keep tasks where they belong and how to make sure that I just say no to extra volunteer tasks. Even if they need to be done, they don’t need to be done by me.
I was filling out an application earlier and decided to include a photo of this collage I made last year.
I know I had something to say with this last year but now it means something entirely different to me.
Fun, hey?

It was a glum, rainy day here today but something about this little snail gliding along made me really happy.

My brain is full today but, for a change, not in a bad way.
But it is so full that all of my ideas are jammed together and none of them will emerge on their own.
Some days I just have to say ‘Ok, busy brain, you can have this one.’
